Glamptuary Summer 2025 Newsletter

SUMMER IS OFFICIALLY OVER.

AND WHILE I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER…. I DO KNOW WHAT WE DID… AND I’M GOING TO SUM UP OUR SUMMER IN THIS ARTICLE.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE COMPLETING A 4TH SEASON OF THE GLAMPTUARY PODCAST, A VISIT TO A WONDERFUL OUTDOOR HOSPITALITY DESTINATION IN NEW MEXICO, AND AN IMPORTANT UPDATE ON WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR OUR TEAM AT GLAMPTUARY, INC.

LET’S GET AFTER IT!

Time flies when you’re having fun.

And we had a lot of fun this summer.

It was a mix of work, travel, great conversations, and a step into a new business venture with the hopes of growing something special.

I’ll preface the rest of this article with an acknowledgement that the current events taking place around the world are anything BUT fun. I have never used this blog to comment on politics, or world happenings outside of the experiential outdoor hospitality space. And I never will.

That said… it breaks my heart to see so much negativity in the news.

My hope is that by celebrating the many people and businesses committed to deepening our connection with nature, we can collectively rediscover what it means to live in balance with the world around us.

Ok. Let’s dive in to some fun stuff.

Producing a podcast isn’t easy. It’s a LOT of work. It’s rewarding work. Which is the best kind of work.

Our cast for season 4 was nothing short of amazing. We featured people who are kicking ass as hospitality operators, consultants, executives, and bloggers. The focus of conversation was on the business of outdoor hospitality.

THANK YOU TO EVERY GUEST THAT GRACIOUSLY APPEARED ON SEASON 4!! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!!

Season 4 can be VIEWED and HEARD through a variety of channels. I’ll provide some options and links are below!

Anne Howard of HoneyTrek summed it up best in the Season Finale when she said “You need to be glamping more!”

I whole-heartedly agree.

Visit HoneyTrek to follow Mike and Anne Howard, Season 4 Finale guests!

Speaking of glamping more… we were able to get out for a Glamptuary visit only once this summer. BOO!

We’ll cover why later in this newsletter.

Our one Glamptuary visit was to a wonderful farm in Taos, New Mexico. The full review of our stay at TAOS GOJI FARM AND ECO LODGE is up on the blog.

One word describes our stay - LOVELY!

Read the Glamptuary Review for all the deets and pics!

And now to the last bit of news that has occupied most of our time at Glamptuary Inc for 2025…

We’re in the process of building our first commercial product!

It’s called NATUARY, and it is a community-driven marketplace designed to connect outdoor enthusiasts with outdoor hospitality and recreation providers.

We are loving the wordmark and logo design - courtesy of Cameron High!

When Natuary launches later this year, customers will be able to search for and book outdoor experiences led by expert guides and stays at outdoor hospitality destinations.

Our launch in 2025 will be a true beta launch in Arizona.

Why Arizona? Here’s why:

Our plan is to launch with outdoor experiences first, and do a fast-follow with outdoor hospitality destinations.

And there are a few other nifty verticals, bells & whistles, and features that we plan to add as we grow and receive feedback during our beta launch.

Want to know one of the larger lessons I’ve learned since I started the Natuary project back in late 2024?

Building tech is HARD. It is time consuming. It takes longer than you think. It costs more money than you think.

And… nothing worthwhile is easy. (I remind myself of this useful quote on the daily).

I believe that what we’re building will be useful to both consumers and small business owners. I believe people are healthier when they are connected to nature. And I believe in creating a marketplace that makes it easier for people to connect with nature.

We’re still in tech build mode, coupled with acquisitions to expand our growing list of Experience Provider Partners. If you know of anyone (or you are an Experience Provider) who leads outdoor experiences in Arizona - please reach out via this link!

The categories we are looking to fill currently are:

  • Kayaking

  • Rafting

  • Paddleboarding

  • Balloons

  • ATV/Jeep Tours

  • Hiking

  • Outdoor Adventure Parks

  • Ziplining

  • Canyoneering

  • Rock Climbing

  • Mountain Biking

  • Street Biking

  • Gravel Biking

  • Farm Tours

  • Animal Sanctuaries

  • Fishing

  • Outdoor Photography

  • Outdoor Cultural Activities

I’ll be sure to announce the launch once it happens on this blog.

And we plan to continue this blog and podcast after the Natuary launch.

Why? Because we have fun creating blogs and podcasts about what we love to do!

Thank you all for your continued support!

Namasté.

I truly appreciate your time and if you’ve enjoyed what you’ve read - please share with your network.
